Bizarre frozen tree shapes captured by Russian photograpger Sergey Makurin. These stunning photos of snow covered trees may look as if they are from the magical world of Narnia but are actually from a remote part of Western Russia. Spotted in Perm Krai and Sverdlovsk Oblast, which are various parts of the Ural mountains, the area is extremely isolated with very few human inhabitants for miles around. Temperature in the region can drop to a chilling -35 degrees. [Photo/IC] |
