Morocco wants to postpone 2015 Africa Cup over Ebola
RABAT - The Moroccan government called the African Football Confederation (CAF) to postpone the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations because of Ebola epidemic, said a government statement on Friday night.
The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled for January 17 to February 8.
Morocco's health ministry asked the government to "to avoid events which involve those countries affected by the Ebola virus," the statement said.
