Liberia receives experimental Ebola drug

MONROVIA -- Sample doses of the experimental Ebola drug Z-MAPP have been delivered to the Liberian government, local radio reported on Thursday.

The drug was released by the US manufacturer after it was approved by the drug administration.

President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf said in a recent speech in Monrovia that the drug will contribute immensely in turning Ebola around and help restore hope to a distressed populace.
