One has still lost contact in the deadly Asiana airplane crash that killed two middle schools students, said the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco, adding that the other 138 Chinese passengers are safe.

Twelve people are receiving treatment at five local hospitals, among which one is critically injured.

Eighty of the 138 people have been arranged to stay at the Crowne Plaza, a hotel near the San Francisco International Airport. The others have left the city either on their way back to China or other US cities.

Asiana Flight 214, with 141 Chinese nationals among a total of 307 people on board, crashed when it landed at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday (local time).
