WASHINGTON - The wounded suspect of Boston Marathon Bombing has been transferred from a hospital to a prison hospital, the US Marshals Service said Friday.

According to US Marshals Service spokesman Drew Wade, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the 19-year-old bombing suspect, had been transferred from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center to Federal Medical Center Devens.

The prison hospital is located on the grounds of the former Fort Devens military base, and is designed to house prisoners requiring ongoing medical care.

Tsarnaev, who suffered bullet wound to his throat, had been receiving treatment since his capture last Friday.

Tsarnaevs was accused of carrying out twin bombings on April 15 at the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 200. His older brother Tamerlan, another suspect, died in a gun battle with police during a manhunt.

It was also reported that New York City was the next target for the Tsarnaev brothers.
