5.5-magnitude quake hits southern Sumatra, Indonesia
HONG KONG - An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted southern Sumatra, Indonesia at 11:00:22 GMT on Wednesday (19:00:22 Hong Kong Time), the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 30.40 km, was initially determined to be at 2.9150 degrees south latitude and 101.3215 degrees east longitude.
