1 cop killed, 2 injured in police station attack in Karachi
ISLAMABAD - At least one policeman was killed and two others injured on Tuesday evening in an attack at a police station in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi, local media reported.
According to reports, unknown miscreants riding on motorcycles opened fire at a police station in the Sohrab Goth area of Karachi, Pakistan's business hub with a population of over 200 million.
The attackers also threw hand grenades at the police station, killing one police on the spot and injuring two others.
The rescue team rushed to the site and shifted the injured to the hospital where both were reported in stable condition.
The miscreants easily fled away from the site after the attack.
No group or militant organization claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
