M6.6 quake hits Simeulue, Indonesia

JAKATAR - An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale jolted Simeulue, Indonesia at 7:27 am local time Wednesday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 33.00 km, was initially determined to be at 2.5160 degrees north latitude and 95.7970 degrees east longitude.
