Cab drivers protest against use of Olympic lanes

LONDON - London police said a man jumped into the River Thames during an Olympic protest by London's cab drivers on Monday.

Several dozen cabs drove slowly and tooted their horns at Tower Bridge on Monday as the drivers were furious that they are banned from driving in the special lanes reserved for Olympic Family members and fear they will lose money because London will be so congested during the Games.

The so-called "Games Lanes" around greater London are set to come into force Wednesday.
