ISLAMABAD - At least nine policemen were killed and three others were injured in an attack launched by unknown gunmen early Thursday morning in Pakistan's eastern city of Lahore, reported local Urdu TV channel Dunya.
According to the local media reports, five to six unknown gunmen coming in three motorbikes entered a house where some 30 policemen lived inside in the city and sprayed bullets on them indiscriminately.
They run away on the motorbikes after the attack.
All the police living inside the house came from the country's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province for receiving training in Lahore.
Other details about the attack are not immediately known.
