WASHINGTON - A 6.2-magnitude earthquake jolted off the coast of Aisen, Chile, on Thursday night, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter of the tremor, which struck around 0200 GMT Friday, was located 675 km southwest of the port city of Puerto Montt at the depth of 10 km.
No tsunami warning has been immediately known following the temblor, whose magnitude the USGS earlier placed at 6.7.
