A showcase of ethnic Chinese costumes, dancing, singing and music will be performed in the United States between Nov 7 and 20.
The troupe will take their performances to families, schools, theaters and communities in Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York.
The group of 48 performers includes professional singers and dancers from art schools and organizations and farmers from China's remote areas. They will show off the ethnic culture of China with costumes featuring bright colors, unique and sophisticated styles, and deep cultural meanings.
A photo exhibition consisting of 200 pictures of China's 56 ethnic groups will also be on display during the two-week tour.
The show will be free to the public. The showcase is organized by The State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Culture of China, together with World Artists Experiences (WAE).
