Traffic accident kills 9, injures 1 in Ukraine

KIEV - Nine persons were killed and another one seriously injured in a car accident in northern Ukraine late Thursday,local media reported Friday morning.
A truck full of cargo collided with a bus with nine passengers near the town of Mena in Chernigov, northern Ukraine.
The accident destroyed the bus completely. The injured and the dead were taken out after cutting apart the mangled vehicle. The wounded passenger was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the accident is being investigated, but witnesses said the truck's driver lost control.
This is not the first serious traffic accident in Ukraine since the beginning of this week. On September 5, six people were killed in another car accident in the Lugansk region of eastern Ukraine.
