MOSCOW - Russian state-run oil company Rosneft has discovered a new oil field with estimated reserves exceeding 15 million tons in eastern Siberia, local media reported Wednesday.
The company said in a statement that the oil field was found during test drilling of well No. 71 at the Danilovsky block in the Irkutsk region.
The daily outflow of the oil was estimated at 200 tons, it said.
The new field is the fourth deposit discovered by Rosneft in Russia's East Siberia, the RIA Novosti news agency reported.
