Saudi Arabia cannot threat Iran: Tehran

TEHRAN - Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said Saudi Arabia cannot pose threat against Iran, the local ISNA news agency reported on Monday.

Saudi Arabia "is not in a position to threaten Iran," Vahidi said on Sunday, adding that Saudi Arabia "will never dare to pose military threat against Iran."

Rejecting any claims for Iran's meddling in Bahrain's internal affairs, he said "anyone who looks at the scene in Bahrain will finds out that who is really intervening in Bahrain's matters."

Referring to Saudi forces' presence in Bahrain, he added "a simple examination will show which country has deployed its forces across Bahrain and is meddling in the country's issues," according to the report.
