RIO DE JANEIRO - Brazil's Central Bank released on Wednesday its quarterly inflation report, in which it foresees an inflation rate of 5.9 percent this year and 5 percent in 2011.

The country's GDP is expected to rise 7.3 percent in 2010 and 4.5 percent in 2011. In the first three quarters of the year, Brazil's GDP accumulated a rise of 8.4 percent year-on-year. The fourth quarter figures are expected to be positive as well.
Industry is expected to grow 10.2 percent in 2010, while the agricultural sector is to expand 7.5 percent and the tertiary sector, 5.4 percent.
In 2011, the agricultural sector is expected to grow 0.5 percent, while the industrial and tertiary sectors are to increase 5.4 and 4.2 percent respectively.
