PRAGUE -- A gunman killed six people and injured 14 others in a shooting spree in the Slovak capital of Bratislava on Monday, the state-run TASR news agency reported.
The shooting happened at around 10 a.m. (0800 GMT) in Devinska Nova Ves district on the outskirts of Bratislava, according to the TASR.
The gunman armed with a shotgun opened fire on passers-by and windows of buildings, local TV reported. His motives were still unknown.
Dominika Sulkova, spokeswoman for the rescue service, said among the dead were four women and two men.
