Important Al-Qaeda leader killed in drone attack in NW Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - An important Al-Qaeda leader named Abu Ahmad was killed among 15 others in a drone attack launched Saturday morning in Mirali, a major town in Pakistan's northwest tribal area of North Waziristan along the Afghan border, reported the local Urdu language TV channel Duniya News, adding that Abu Ahmad was responsible for a series of attacks launched in Afghanistan from the Pakistani side.
