10 killed, 24 injured in bus accident in Nepal

KATHMANDU: At least 10 people have been killed and other 24 injured in a passenger bus accident in Kaski district in western Nepal on Monday.

The bus heading for Pokhara from Kaskikot, some 200 km west of Kathmandu, skidded some 50 meters down the road at around 10:30 (0445 GMT) Monday morning.

Seven passengers died on the spot and three died on the way to hospitals, police informed.

The police have said that the bus might have met with an accident at the graveled road due to the over-loaded passengers.
