More study is needed to determine if some populations (ie younger or older people, or people with other medical conditions) could be affected by the outbreak, of if they are at higher risk for severe illness. WHO recommends that everyone take precautions to prevent the spread of infection. Are there any special recommendations for pregnant women? Yes, they are vulnerable. Like everyone, they should take all the necessary precautions. |
