WASHINGTON: The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has signaled that it wants to improve relations with the United States, US national security adviser Jim Jones said on Sunday.

"The North Koreans have indicated they would like a new relation, a better relation with the United States," Jones said in an interview on the "Fox News Sunday" show when asked about former US President Bill Clinton's visit to the DPRK last week.
