| Thai PM leaves Bangkok for UK visit (Xinhua) Updated: 2009-03-13 13:54 BANGKOK -- Thailand's Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva left Bangkok early Friday morning for a three-day official visit to the United Kingdom during March 13-15 at an invitation of the British government. 
 
 
 Also, Abhisit's visit to London is preparation ahead of the G-20 Summit on Financial and Market and the World Economy, scheduled on April 2 in London, since the Thai Premier as the chairman of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations is invited to attend the G-20 Summit. Meanwhile, the Oxford-graduated Thai Primier will speak at Oxford University on Saturday to express his ideas for developing democracy and reforming the Thai politics. | |||||
