Suicide attack kills over 10 in NW Pakistan

ISLAMABAD -- A suicide attack on a military convoy on Saturday killed at least 10 people in northwestern Pakistan's tribal region, local TV channel reported.

The convoy of Pakistan's security forces was attacked in North Waziristan tribal agency when it was traveling from Bannu to Miramshah, Dawn News TV said.

Reports said that a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden car into the convoy of the security forces near a checkpost. Several people were also injured in the attack.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
