Venezuela defers military exercise with Russia

CARACAS -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez postponed on Sunday a jointly military exercise with Russia, originally scheduled for November this year.

"We are still at the preparatory phase, we are not ready yet for these operations to take place in November.

It could be at the end of November or December," Chavez said during his TV and radio program "Hello, President."
