Friday's mosque bombing at a funeral in the holy Iraqi city of Najaf, 160 km
(100 miles) south of Baghdad April 8, 2006. Three suicide bombers dressed as
women killed nearly 90 people at a Shiite mosque in Baghdad on Friday, the
bloodiest attack in Iraq for at least three months. A senior official warned
Iraq was in an "undeclared civil war" that can be curbed only by a strong
government and greater powers for security services. [Reuters]
