The Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway is nearly set to open to the public. The train, which travels at 300 km/h, can make a one-way trip in five hours. To give you an early glimpse, cameras followed China Daily reporter Huang Lan as she rode the train on a round-trip between Beijing and Shanghai on June 17.
