On April 16th, a Saturday morning, alumni and current students of Tsinghua University gathered in the school’s gymnasium, prepared to shorten their weekend for an important dance rehearsal. The University’s Centenary Gala is less than a week away. The dance they are rehearsing is called The Dance of Ordos. It is quite a renowned piece in the University’s history.
