Nine classic Cadillac cars, along with American and Chinese artworks, are on display at the 2012 Cadillac Design and Art Show in Beijing to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the brand.

The vehicles include a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado, the Escalade Hybrid, the world's first full-size luxury SUV hybrid, and the concept car Ciel that points to Cadillac's future design.

They include "Marilyn Monroe" and "Triple Elvis" by Andy Warhol, and works by the Chinese artists Fang Lijun and Zhang Xiaogang in the showroom of the Eldorado, representing an era of prosperity.

"Cadillac's constant pursuit of excellence speaks well for the confidence and vision on the part of a nation its path to the future, qualities which are also pursued here in China," Xiao Xiaolan, the show curator, said.

The exhibition also includes Sino-US Ballet, a sculpture by the Chinese artist Huang Gang that features a Sino-US duo performing ballet.
