What I had: Costa Rica Coffee – 58 RMB
Overall, High Altitude is one of the more expensive coffee shops I visited. My 58 RMB Costa Rica was a middle of the menu item, pricewise. That said, it was one of the best cups of coffee I've had yet in Beijing.
The Costa Rica was a more mellow, earthy coffee, with smoky, nutty undertones. Overall, it was remarkably complex and clean.
High Altitude's interior is cozy and comfortable. While the first floor doesn't offer much more than the coffee counter, the upstairs boasts colorful sofas, plenty of tables, and seats with seat cushions. It's a comfortable place to get work done, and the coffee is outstanding to boot, even if it is a bit pricey.
