The Federation Equestre Internationale World Cup Jumping China League will leap off at the National Stadium in Beijing from April 29 to May 5.
The league will be divided into three stops, with two qualification events and a final. The second qualification will be staged in a southwest city in July, and the final will be held in a western city in October, both venues are yet to be named.
According to the organizer, the first qualification will feature almost 100 international riders.
The FEI Jumping World Cup, founded in 1978, is divided into 14 divisions worldwide. China first hosted a Cup event in 2011.
The champion of the China League will qualify for the FEI Jumping World Cup Finals. Thus the tournament is also the easiest path for Chinese riders to qualify for the season-ending event.
This year's final will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, from April 24-28.
