Ancient Guangzhou:

Guangzhou has a long history and culture. For thousands of years, it has been one of China's main trading ports and was the starting point of the "Maritime Silk Road". Nowadays, many people around the world come here to study, work and so on.

On Shamian Island there are more than 150 European style architectures buildings. The architectural styles run the gamut from New Baroque to pseudo-gothic and Neoclassical. The buildings on Shamian Island are very exotic and I love to stroll along Shamian Dajie to take it in.
