3. Shiro the uncle cat

Shiro, or more commonly known by its Chinese name Mao Shu (uncle cat) on Weibo, is loved for its 16:9 widescreen face, small eyes and ever so calm attitude no matter what the owner puts on him. Shiro was one of the first animals to viral on China's social media. His head, which seems to remain still under all circumstances, has held canned cat foods, tangerines and even Lady Gaga-inspired attires. Many Chinese Internet users were worried about the safety of Shiro after the earthquake in Japan in 2011. Fortunately, the serene cat wasn't hurt at all in the natural disaster.
