The Beijing Invitational Craft Beer Festival will be held at TRB Copper from Feb 26 to 28, its organizers — leading Chinese craft beer brewer Great Leap Brewing and XIX Spirit, a distributor of British liquor — recently announced.
The festival was first held in 2012.
Ten brands from countries including the United States, Japan, New Zealand and Australia have registered for the event so far.
“I am looking forward to this chance for Great Leap Brewing to bring beer and brewers from everywhere to Beijing and for brewers to present their stories to Beijing beer lovers,” says Liu Fang, co-owner of the pioneering craft beer brewer.
The event will have seven two-hour sessions spread across Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each session will be limited to 240 people to give guests time and space to sample beers from a variety of breweries.
Advance tickets are 250 yuan ($38.50) per person and include free-flow drinks, canapes provided by TRB and a limited edition 2016 BICBF glass.
Tickets are now on sale at the Great Leap Brewing #12 Brewpub, located on Xinzhong Street and online at 247tickets.cn. Online tickets can be purchased using credit cards, UnionPay, WeChat wallet, PayPal and bank transfers.
