Soul Bowls is the latest pop-up concept from the folks who were behind the Beijing summer hit Buena Onda. This time they're taking over the kitchen at The Bookworm every morning for the next three weeks, with one-dish meals like Mexicalicious (pictured): Warm quinoa salad with organic housemade chorizo, corn, kale, chipotle, "Aztec spice", cherry tomatoes and a fan of ripe avocado - a nice surprise on a frosty morning for just 60 yuan ($9.40). The brief but rich menu also includes soups, cold-dish bowls, great coffee, fresh juices and smoothies.
8 am-2 pm, Building 4, Nan Sanlitun Road, Chaoyang district, Beijing. 010-6586-9507.
