Factory-5
The black-and-white-themed store was founded by three expats in Shanghai, who, back in 2009, decided that the city was a "desert of fixed gears" with nowhere to replace broken fittings. The store not only works with foreign suppliers to source spare parts, but also partners with a number of big brands and sells the likes of Mission Workshop messenger bags and water bottle holsters.
Tailored fixed-gear machines are also available at the store, which takes about four to six weeks to deliver the specific bikes. The store also designs and manufactures its own frames, and organizes regular night riding excursions.
