The first question a woman asks herself when buying a pair of pumps is: "How high?" Some already know what they want and what they can manage.

For those who are unsure of heights, Choi has this piece of advice: "I always encourage people to try all the heights on to find one that works best for them. Some people are born to wear towering heels and others aren't. You need to train yourself to wear a pair of heels. It doesn't happen overnight."

Jimmy Choo has so much choice - 11 heel types in the main collection with 17 heel heights. Choi cites the Anouk as an example that comes in 120 mm, 100 mm, 85 mm, 50 mm and 35 mm heels. It is also the brand's pioneer pump and the most iconic and popular on the red carpet.

Jimmy Choo made its name as the go-to label for pointy-toed pumps catering to the career women. Choi proudly says: "The attention to detail in the silhouette is so precise that the design is almost architectural. We spent a long time getting the perfect, sharpest point, a streamlined silhouette and the perfect stiletto heel that flatters the foot, ankle and leg."
