The Chinese version of the ABC singing competition reality show, "Duets," has made waves across the country since its debut on Beijing Satellite Television (BTV) on July 20, 2013. The show is BTV's first foreign format, starring singers Chen Yufan and Hu Haiquan of the Chinese pop band "Yu Quan", Taiwan pop singer Jam Hsiao and Taiwan singer-actress Christine Fan as the mentors who travel across the country to find unknown singers to duet with them when they perform live in front of a studio audience. Chinese singer Yang Kun serves as the host. [Photo/china.org.cn/People.com.cn] |
