A New Year full of laughs

The festive New Year film season will feature three comedies. Jackie Chan's Chinese Zodiac is his 101st film and one that wins him two Guinness World Records - "most stunts performed by a living actor" and "most credits in one movie". The film, featuring eye-popping moves by Chan will premiere on Dec 20. Veteran actor Xu Zheng's directorial debut Thailand List is widely believed to be a dark horse in the competitive showings. Starring Xu and two other beloved comedians, Huang Bo and Wang Baoqiang, the film follows the three men's hilarious journey to Thailand. It was released on Dec 12.Veteran actor Zhu Shimao will bring Love Retake, a romantic comedy to be released in early February.
