Chinese director Lu Chuan's epic film "The Last Supper" is among the films to be screened at the 37th Toronto International Film Festival, according to the event's Web site.
This will be the movie's world premiere, as it is scheduled for domestic release in October.
"The Last Supper" is a new adaptation of the famous story "Banquet at Hongmen". During the banquet, warring general Xiang Yu was motivated to assassinate his rival Liu Bang.
"Cloud Atlas", "Argo", "End of Watch", "The Place Beyond the Pines", "The Company You Keep" and "Jayne Mansfield's Car" are also on the screening list.
The festival, running from September 6 to 16, will open with the sci-fi film "Looper".
