The sci-fi blockbuster "Looper" will be released globally on September 28, becoming the only Hollywood epic to be screened in China during this year's lucrative National Day Holiday slot.
The production company DMG recently released a series of still photos featuring the four lead actors - Bruce Willis, Xu Qing, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt.
One of these photos shows Xu and Willis laying together reading a book intimately, which raised guesses about their onscreen relationship.
The film tells the story of a killer (Gordon-Levitt) who works for a criminal organization of the future. He, along with other "Loopers", dispose of people sent from the future. When he recognizes one victim as his future self (Bruce Willis), he hesitates and lets the man escape.
It is directed by Rian Johnson.
