The 2012 Top Chinese Music Awards Ceremony took place on Monday in Jinan, Shangdong province, and was attended by a host of famous singers and bands including Chris Li, A-Mei and Mayday.
Chris Li and Zhang Jie shared the Most Popular Singer Award for mainland singers. Hebe Tian from girl band S.H.E and Show Luo received the awards for Best Hong Kong and Taiwan Singers.
A-Mei picked up the award for the most influential singer, while Wang Feng, Shang Wenjie, JJ Lin and A-mei were crowned as the best singers of the year.
Established in 2001, the Top Chinese Music Awards event is viewed as China's equivalent of the Grammy's. The event provides recognition to singers from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
