A press conference for 'Chinese Dream - the First International Micro Film Festival' official website was held at the China National Film Museum in Beijing on April 5, 2012.
The main backers of the Festival are the China Economic Information Network, the Jiangsu Culture Bureau, China's Micro Film Committee, the Jiangsu Performance Group and the School of Journalism and Communication of Nanjing University.
With a theme of "Chinese Dream", the Festival aims to enhance the healthy development of micro films and promote professionalism, as well as reward specific recipients for their prominent contribution to the film industry.
The Festival was launched in March and will close to the public in November. The award ceremony will be held in Nanjing in December.
