For those who are feeling the pressures of modern-day life and need help to cope with anxieties, help is at hand.

Three works by acclaimed author Guo Wenbin -- Lunar Calendar, Eternal Nostalgia and Wake Up -- were simultaneously re-released this autumn.

Of the three works, Lunar Calendar and Eternal Nostalgia -- published by Changjiang Literature and Art Press -- hold a special place in Guo’s large body of literary work.

While Lunar Calendar was nominated for the 8th Mao Dun Literature Prize in 2011 and ranked 7th in the final round of voting, Eternal Nostalgia is Guo’s latest collection of prose.

Meanwhile, Wake Up is the companion book of his best-seller Look For Peace, which is distributed by the Zhonghua Book Company.

May all people be peaceful and all time be pleasant is the common thread that runs through the three books.

Both Lunar Calendar and Eternal Nostalgia have pride of place when it comes to Chinese literature.

While Lunar Calendar is a about a typical “Chinese symbol”, Eternal Nostalgia conveys the writer’s focus on reality.
