This is one of Rivera's master works of Classicism. It portrays the peak of Orizaba Mountain.
Diego Rivera was born in Mexico in 1886 and began studying painting from noted art masters in childhood, which gave him a solid foundation in traditional painting. During his early youth, his art focused on Classicism.
Once when he was out travelling with his father, the young man painted this work Peak of Orizaba, which presents the tranquil and beautiful scenery of the mountain.
