Art exhibit commemorates Deng Xiaoping’s birth

An exhibition of portraits of Deng Xiaoping is being held at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing, to commemorate the 110th anniversary of Deng's birth. Deng, who lived from Aug 22, 1904 to Feb 19, 1997, is known as the general architect of China's reform and opening-up. The exhibition lasts from Aug 16-26.
