On March 2, villagers from Guanludong Village, Tancheng County, Linyi, Shandong province draw a granary with plant ash. On Long Tai Tou Festival day, the locals carry out the “enclosing barn” custom. They paint a granary and put a bunch of cereal in the innermost circle, with the meaning of a bumper grain harvest. [Photo/Xinhua] |
