This year's Lincoln Center Festival, which concluded in early August, embraced traditional Chinese culture with the staging of the chamber opera Feng Yi Ting. The work by Chinese composer Guo Wenjing blends the beauty of Pekin Opera with Sichuan Opera. Sarina Tang, co-producer of Feng Yi Ting, told China Daily about the process of bringing a traditional Chinese opera to a Western audience.
