BEIJING - Zhang Yue, a standing committee member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) committee of north China's Hebei Province, is under investigation for suspected severe disciplinary violations, the anti-graft authority said Saturday.

The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC issued the statement, with no further details.
