BEIJING -- President Xi Jinping has called for a deepening of reforms to implement the innovative, coordinated, green, open and shared development mandated in China's new Five-Year Plan.
Authorities must coordinate their efforts to put these concepts into practice, as they are key to the country meeting its target of forming a moderately prosperous society, Xi told a meeting of the Central Leading Group for Deepening Overall Reform on Tuesday.
The group is planning more pilot reforms to test and demonstrate new mechanisms, according to a statement released after the meeting.
