Cross-Strait chiefs to meet in late May

BEIJING -The Chinese mainland's Taiwan affairs chief, Zhang Zhijun, will visit Kinmen County on May 23 to 24 at the invitation of Taiwan's mainland affairs chief, Andrew Hsia, a mainland official said on Friday.
Zhang will meet with Hsia to exchange views on cross-Strait relations and issues concerning the livelihood of people in Kinmen, an island about 2 km from Fujian Province on the mainland, according to Fan Liqing, spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office.
